CBN Abrasive: A Guide 

CBN stands for Cubic Boron Nitride and is an abrasive for demanding grinding application. It is based on a synthetic crystalline material and can be effective in situations where even diamond fails to make an impact.

CBN is:

  • Second only to diamond when it comes to hardness
  • Not prone to oxidation
  • Does not react when lapping ferrous metals

Diamond suspension 

Our diamond suspensions, pastes and powders are high-quality abrasive and polishing products that deliver a reliable and repeatable performance. Diamond products should be used together with some form of lubricant, such as water or oil,  when working the surface.  The choice of lubricant depends on the material and preparation.
